The N22-EMR continuously senses Potential between earth & neutral terminal on load side, If Earth gets disconnected OR Resistance of earth increases, The Potential difference between Neutral & Earth may increase . The relay will give output for tripping or audio alarm when such voltage rises above the limit set on the dial. The time delay for relay output is optional feature. The relay also protects Critical Equipment for Earthing NOT CONNECTED.

N22-IR is a ready made solution for engine starting circuits used for D. G. Sets, fire fighting pumps etc. It has two relay outputs viz.RL1 & RL2. Relay RL1provides starting impulses where in the duration of the impulse (ON Time)& the time between the two impulses (OFF Time)is user settable. Relay RL2 provides ’FAILS TO START’ alarm/indication in case all the number of attempts to start engine by RL1 have failed. Number of attempts is user selectable . Protime's Digital Earth Fault relay monitors the current flowing through the circuit continuously through secondary of CT / CBCT which is in the current path. When current signal goes out of the range selected , the relay status will change .The relay checks CT/CBCT for its healthiness first & then starts monitoring fault current. The relays are provided with time delays . The C. T./CBCT is connected in earth fault current path. For e. g. Cable connected between Alternator neutral &ground, or Neutral of the circuit, or if CBCT is used it is connected to pass all 3/4 wires to pass through it to measure fault current. Digital EFR has a facility for user to program AUTO/MANUAL RESET and NORMAL/FAIL SAFE TRIPPING of relays. Also it has connectivity of RS232/485 as an additional option.
