The N96D-EFR/d senses total current passing from the DC system on Positive or Negative BUS & calculate leakage current passing through earth. The relay operates either during Over Load or when the leakage current goes above the selected value . It has Over Current Range from 20-120% & Earth Fault level setting from 1% to 10% of rated current sensor, for e.g. for 25A Sensor it shall be 5A to 30A for Over Load & 250mA to 2.5A for Earth Fault. It also has time delay setting from 1 to 10 sec for delay in relay operation after fault occurs. The relay has 1 C/O set of contacts each for +ve Earth Fault, Negative Earth Fault & DC Over Load. Protime's N22-PSR is designed with fool proof digital technology to monitor the Phase sequence of three phase System. When Phase Sequence of 3-ph. Supply goes wrong, relay changes its state after fixed time delay of 3 sec. It also indicates if any of the phase fails to Zero. It has indication for correct as well as wrong Phase Sequence. This relay is used for Phase to Phase Sensing. Auxiliary supply range is from 90 to 500V AC. It can work even in any one phase fail condition. The relay senses the Insulation resistance of any unearthed system, Mostly suitable for DC Earth leakage protection for any equipment's like Switch boards, Rectifiers, Battery Chargers. It senses Resistance between Positive & Negative Terminals of DC System & Earth. The leakage current if any will be dependent on the Insulation resistance value between respective terminals, Higher the resistance , lower is the leakage current & vice versa. Lower resistance results in to loss of life or damage to equipment. PROTIME’s N22-IMR senses insulation resistance using Resistor Bridge principal & energizes relay when Resistance value goes below the value selected on the dialThe Relays are provided with user settable (0-10Sec) time delay . The relay is paired with suitable Sensor as per system voltage, & has a provision of connecting External Leakage resistance meter (Analog). Center infinity meter can be provided with calibrated scale to measure IR.
